Steel Post and Rail was founded in 1988 by partners Terry McComb & Sam Rabjohns, who remains director to this present day.

Our customers are sporting facilities, schools and government entities who require high-quality, long-lasting products.

We work along side Architects, Landscape Architects, Principle Contractors and direct with our customers project side.

Our in-house design services means we can work direct with you on the aesthetics, and complete building approvals and engineering certfication required for end-to-end service.

Steel Post and Rail operate Australia-wide and specialise in Shade, Seating & Outdoor product in both standard configurations and bespoke designs.

Meet the team

Director and GM
Steel Post & Rail is owned by Sam
Rabjohns, who combined with son Samuel, form a formidable leadership team dedicated to exceptional service and quality.
Sam Snr has over 50 years experience in the steel industry, and loves the day to day collaboration with his customers. You can cold call and speak with Sam & Samuel anytime.
Samuel has a Background in Urban Design and Urban Planning, having completed his Bachelor Degree at QUT, and further studied a Masters Degree in Project Management at QUT.
Samuel’s qualifications and 10-year experience in residential and commercial construction, and father Sam’s knowledge and mentorship from 50 years in the steel industry, directly translates to superior service for you, the customer.

Project Administrator
Jessica Hutson is a key link in project
delivery, actively involved in quoting, project managament & project handover.
Jess started at our company with 10 years experience in real estate sales, and brings all the strengths of a successful operator.
Our strength is our teams shared commitment to customer experience and quality. Jess is always a great point of contact to discuss our deliverables, our point of difference and our pricing.
As a customer, you will often speak with Jess regarding quotations, project program, OH&S, project claims and regarding handover documentation.
